Sleep Cloud
Overnight exposure at home
Sleep at simulated altitude and keep your daytime training in your usual environment.
Explore Sleep CloudSwimming performance
Use simulated altitude around the training programme — especially overnight — without compromising access to a sea-level pool or technical swim work.
Sleep Cloud and the Altitude Bedroom System are the most natural fit for swimmers because altitude exposure can happen overnight while pool sessions stay unchanged.
A sleep system adds exposure outside pool hours. Swimmers can retain access to their usual coach, pool and training group while planning a block at home.
A simulated-altitude room changes the oxygen concentration of the air you breathe. Underwater breath-holding and restricted-breathing drills are different activities and are not instructions for using these systems. Never treat underwater breath-holding as a substitute for supervised altitude preparation.
Consider exposure alongside the demands of aerobic sets, race-pace work, strength sessions and competition. Research in other endurance sports cannot establish a specific time saving for an individual swimmer.
Build the programme around the actual event, including water conditions, feeding and pacing. An altitude sleep block can be considered as one element of preparation; it does not replace race-specific open-water work.
Training Cloud is for compatible dryland equipment such as a bike or rower. It is not a swimming enclosure. talk to Box Altitude about sleep systems or a facility installation for a squad.
Structured live-high, train-low studies have reported increases in haemoglobin mass and aerobic performance. These findings apply to the exposure and athletes studied; they do not establish a fixed increase in watts or a race-time saving for every user. Review the a published live-high, train-low study and its protocol when planning your approach.

There is no fixed improvement that can be promised. Study outcomes depend on the protocol and participants, and individual responses vary. Assess your own progress with your coach rather than using a promised percentage or race-time saving.
Plan the block with your coach around the race, travel, training load and your previous response. There is no universal number of weeks that guarantees a peak on race day.
Yes. A home altitude sleep system allows overnight exposure while your daytime sessions remain in your usual training environment.
Suitability depends on your goals, health, training and ability to follow a consistent plan. Professional use does not guarantee the same outcome for an amateur athlete.
Sleep Cloud is designed for overnight exposure, Training Cloud for compatible indoor exercise setups, and an Altitude Bedroom System for a dedicated room. Choose the configuration around your space and intended use.
